   (1) Use this troubleshooting procedure to investigate the engine after a fuel leak from drain mast event.
4. Fault Isolation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.

A. Do the steps that follow:
   (1) If there is fuel leakage evident from the drain mast, identify the specific drain line location AMM 71-71-00-00-.
   (2) Measure the individual leakage quantities and compare to fuel leakage limits AMM 71-00-00-910-803.
   (3) If the fuel leakage rate is less than the maximum serviceable limit, no maintenance action is required.
   (4) If the fuel leakage rate is more than the maximum serviceable limit, determine the cause for the leakage and repair as necessary.
   (5) If you do not find the cause of the fuel leakage, do a visual inspection of the engine fuel system AMM 73-11-00-210-804.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
