3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 71-00-00-710-136-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Investigate the Engine after an Idle not Correct event
   (1) Using the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) test the FADEC system for any recorded faults AMM 73-21-00-710-806.
   (2) Any EEC monitored faults are transmitted to the aircraft Centralized Fault Display Interface Unit (CFDIU). The MCDU allows interactive dialog with the EEC. Use the MCDU to review the previous flight leg fault information, scheduled maintenance fault information and ground fault information. If there are any faults reported troubleshoot them first.
4. Fault Isolation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 71-00-00-810-143-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do the steps that follow:
   (1) If the maintenance messages related to the Throttle Resolver Angle (TRA) signal failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine one Throttle Lever Angle (TLA) fault and/or for engine throttle lever fault and engine throttle and reserver, refer to TRA Signal Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 76-11-00-810-825).
   (2) If the maintenance messages related to the TRA signal failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine one TLA fault and/or for engine throttle lever fault and engine throttle and reserver, refer to TRA Signal Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 76-11-00-810-826).
   (3) If the maintenance messages related to the Fuel Metering Valve (FMV) track check appear on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance and/or the ECAM warning for engine fuel control fault and engine fuel valve fault, refer to integrated fuel pump and control/FMV-track check channel A (Ref. TSM TASK 73-11-00-810-808).
   (4) If the maintenance messages related to the Fuel Metering Valve (FMV) track check appear on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance and/or the ECAM warning for engine fuel control fault and engine fuel valve fault, refer to integrated fuel pump and control/FMV-track check channel B (Ref. TSM TASK 73-11-00-810-813).
   (5) If the maintenance messages related to the T2 engine sensor signal failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault, refer to T2 engine sensor signal failure channel A (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-871).
   (6) If the maintenance messages related to the T2 engine sensor signal failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault, refer to T2 engine sensor signal failure channel B (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-872).
   (7) If the maintenance messages related to the 2.5 bleed valve actuator failure appear with the ECAM warning for engine compressor vane fuel consumption increased thrust limited, refer to LPC (2.5) bleed valve actuator mechanically stuck open - track check (Ref. TSM TASK 75-32-00-810-832).
   (8) If the maintenance messages related to High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Stator Vane Actuator (SVA) primary failure appear with the ECAM warning for engine compressor vane thrust limited refer to HPC SVA master actuator / mechanical failure resulting in inability to position actuator (Ref. TSM TASK 75-31-00-810-819).
   (9) If the maintenance messages related to the T2 sensor disagree with ADIRU sensor, refer to T2 in disagreement with ADIRUx or T2 in range failed (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-897).
   (10) If the maintenance messages related to the Pamb sensor disagree with ADIRU sensor appear, refer to Pamb in range failed (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-902).
   (11) If the maintenance messages related to the P2 calculated disagree with ADIRU sensor appear, refer to P2 Synthesized in Disagreement with ADIRUx (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-894).
   (12) If there are no EEC monitored faults or messages recorded and the engine idle parameters are not within the proper operating range, check the burner pressure sensing lines AMM 73-21-00-200-806.
   (13) If you do not find any problems, make sure that the aircraft pneumatic system is operating properly AMM 36-11-00-710-802.
   (14) If you do not find any problems, make sure the intake anti-ice system is operating properly AMM 30-21-00-200-802.
   (15) If you do not find any problems, do an operationnal test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized FaultDisplay System (CFDS) AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
     (a) Check for any fault message involving Landing Gear Control and Interface Unit (LGCIU) or slat extension.
     (b) Troubleshoot any messages as necessary.
   (16) If you do not find any problems:
     (a) Replace INTEGRATED FUEL PUMP AND CONTROL [4360KS] AMM 73-11-01-000-801 and AMM 73-11-01-400-801.
   (17) If not previously, accomplished run the engine at idle AMM 73-21-00-710-807.
   (18) If the problem continues:
     (a) Replace [4000KS] AMM 73-21-01-000-801 and AMM 73-21-01-400-801.
5. Close-up
Subtask 71-00-00-860-090-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
