3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 71-00-00-710-135-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Investigate the Engine after a Slow Engine Response event
   (1) Using the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) test the FADEC system for any recorded faults AMM 73-21-00-710-806.
   (2) Any EEC monitored faults are transmitted to the aircraft Centralized Fault Display Interface Unit (CFDIU). The MCDU allows interactive dialog with the EEC. Use the MCDU to review the previous flight leg fault information, scheduled maintenance fault information and ground fault information. If there are any faults reported troubleshoot them first.
4. Fault Isolation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 71-00-00-810-142-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do the steps that follow:
   (1) If the maintenance messages related to the Throttle Resolver Angle (TRA) signal failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine one Thrust Lever Angle (TLA) fault and/or engine thrust lever fault and engine thrust and reserver, refer to TRA Signal Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 76-11-00-810-825).
   (2) If the maintenance messages related to the TRA signal failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine one TLA fault and/or engine thrust lever fault and engine thrust and reserver, refer to TRA Signal Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 76-11-00-810-826).
   (3) If the ECAM warning for engine stall appear, refer to troubleshoot the engine after a surge - forward thrust event (Ref. TSM TASK 71-00-00-810-854).
   (4) If the maintenance messages related to the High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Stator Vane Actuator (SVA) primary failure appear with the ECAM warning for engine compressor vane thrust limited, refer to HPC SVA master actuator / mechanical failure resulting in inability to position actuator (Ref. TSM TASK 75-31-00-810-819).
   (5) If the maintenance messages related to the Fuel Metering Valve (FMV) track check on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance and/or the ECAM warning for engine fuel control fault and engine fuel valve fault, refer to integrated fuel pump and control/FMV-track check channel A (Ref. TSM TASK 73-11-00-810-808).
   (6) If the maintenance messages related to the FMV track check on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance and/or the ECAM warning for engine fuel control fault and engine fuel valve fault, refer to integrated fuel pump and control/FMV-track check channel B (Ref. TSM TASK 73-11-00-810-813).
   (7) If the maintenance messages related to the Pamb sensor failure on channel A appear with ECAM warning for engine minor fault, refer to pamb sensor signal failure for engine (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-903).
   (8) If the maintenance messages related to the T2 sensor disagree with ADIRU sensor appear, refer to T2 in disagreement with ADIRUx or T2 in range failed (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-897).
   (9) If the maintenance messages related to the Pamb sensor disagree with ADIRU sensor appear, refer to pamb in range failed (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-902).
   (10) If the maintenance messages related to the P2 calculated disagree with ADIRU sensor appear, refer to P2 synthesized in disagreement with ADIRUx (Ref. TSM TASK 73-21-00-810-894).
   (11) If the maintenance messages related to the N2 speed sensor failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC system fault and/or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault and amber crosses on N2, refer to N2 sensor electrical failure (Ref. TSM TASK 77-11-00-810-811).
   (12) If the maintenance messages related to the N2 speed sensor failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC system fault and/or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault and amber crosses on N2, refer to N2 sensor electrical failure (Ref. TSM TASK 77-11-00-810-812).
   (13) If the maintenance messages related to the N1 speed sensor failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC system fault and/or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault and amber crosses on N1, refer to N1 sensor electrical failure (Ref. TSM TASK 77-11-00-810-809)
   (14) If the maintenance messages related to the N1 speed sensor failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC system fault and/or the ECAM warning for engine sensor fault and amber crosses on N1, refer to N1 sensor electrical failure (Ref. TSM TASK 77-11-00-810-808)
   (15) If there are no EEC monitored faults or messages recorded, check the burner pressure sensing lines AMM 73-21-00-200-806.
   (16) If you do not find any problems, check to make sure that the Low Pressure Compressor (LPC) (2.5) bleed linkage is secure AMM 75-32-01-400-801.
   (17) If you do not find any problems, borescope inspect the combustion chamber area. Look carefully at the fuel nozzles for clogging AMM 72-41-00-290-802.
   (18) If you do not find any problems, check the fuel nozzles for clogging/coking AMM 73-11-00-210-805.
   (19) If you do not find any problems:
