Subtask 71-00-00-710-134-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Investigate the Engine after an Oil Filter Clog Warning event
NOTE: The maintenance messages related to the oil filter impending bypass appear along with the crew alert warning messages related to the oil filter degraded, indicate a less severe oil filter contamination condition. A message CLOG in amber color will also appear under the oil pressure indication. The level of clogging is near primary filter bypass and the filter should be replaced per Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) requirements to avoid an oil filter bypass warning.
NOTE: The maintenance messages related to the oil filter in bypass appear along with the crew alert warning messages related to the oil filter clog indicate that the level of clogging is at or more than the level required to bypass the primary level.
NOTE: The ECAM warning for the oil filter degraded and for the oil filter clog are inhibited by the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) if the oil temperature is below 160 deg.F (71.11 deg.C).
   (1) Using the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) test the FADEC system for any recorded faults AMM 73-21-00-710-806.
   (2) Any EEC monitored faults are transmitted to the aircraft Centralized Fault Interface Unit (CFDIU). The MCDU allows interactive dialog with the EEC. Use the MCDU to review the previous flight leg fault information, scheduled maintenance fault information and ground fault information. If there are any faults reported troubleshoot them first.
4. Fault Isolation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 71-00-00-810-141-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do the steps that follow:
   (1) If the crew alert warning messages related to the engine high vibration and the N1 vibration or N2 vibration (amber vibration level) is reported, remove the engine from service.
   (2) If the maintenance messages related to the oil filter delta pressure sensor electrical failure on channel A appear with the ECAM warning for engine oil monitor fault, refer to lube filter delta pressure sensor electrical failure channel A (Ref. TSM TASK 79-33-00-810-835).
   (3) If the maintenance messages related to the oil filter delta pressure sensor electrical failure on channel B appear with the ECAM warning for engine oil monitor fault, refer to lube filter delta pressure sensor electrical failure channel B (Ref. TSM TASK 79-33-00-810-836).
   (4) If the maintenance messages related to the oil filter delta pressure sensor signal disagree appear with the ECAM warning for engine FADEC status maintenance, refer to lube filter delta pressure sensor signal disagreement (Ref. TSM TASK 79-33-00-810-839).
   (5) Replace [6005EM] per MMEL instructions when the maintenance messages related to the oil filter impending bypass is recorded AMM 79-21-06-960-801.
   (6) Inspect the oil filter element AMM 79-00-00-210-809.
   (7) If no contamination is found, check the chip collectors AMM 79-00-00-281-802.
   (8) If the oil filter element and/or the chip collectors are contaminated, inspect the engine oil system AMM 79-00-00-210-811.
     (a) Disposition of the engine is based on the task criteria.
   (9) Run the engine at idle AMM 73-21-00-710-807.
   (10) If the fault continues and wiring problems are suspected refer to lube filter delta pressure sensor signal disagreement (Ref. TSM TASK 79-33-00-810-839) if not already accomplished.
5. Close-up
Subtask 71-00-00-860-088-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
