A. Do the operational test of the APU AMM 49-00-00-710-008.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 49-00-00-810-238-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the APU SHUTDOWNS report gives the maintenance message:

COOLING FAN PMG ASSY (8055KM)
Fault Code Number: 002

do a check and repair the wiring from the ECB (59KD) AC10/11 to the PMG/Cooling Fan Assy Connector P28/2, 3 ASM 496102 ESPM 2052210 ESPM 2053210 ESPM 205321A.

(1) If the fault continues:

do a test of the PMG fuse with a multimeter (diode scale):
- place the positive lead on PIN 3 of P28 Connector and the negative lead on PIN 2.
- if it is approx. 0.9V, the fuse is OK.

(a) if the fuse is OK:

replace the COOLING FAN/PMG ASSY (8055KM) AMM 49-52-53-000-001 and AMM 49-52-53-400-001.

1 If the fault continues:

(b) if the fuse is blown:

replace the ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX [59KD] AMM 49-61-34-000-002 and AMM 49-61-34-400-002 and the COOLING FAN/PMG ASSY (8055KM) AMM 49-52-53-000-001 and AMM 49-52-53-400-001 at the same time.

Subtask 49-00-00-710-299-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
