Failure of the Gate Valve 3YA

1. Possible Causes

ISOL VALVE-CSAS FROM IGGS [3YA]
wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/7 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/1
wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/36 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/2
wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/59 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/4
wiring from ground to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/5

A. Do the BITE test of the IGGS with bleed air AMM 47-31-34-740-001.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 47-11-00-810-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Procedure

NOTE: Before the Gate Valve replacement, send to Airbus the TSD CSAS/IGGS, to make sure of the Gate Valve failure.

(1) Replace the ISOL VALVE-CSAS FROM IGGS [3YA] AMM 47-21-41-000-001 and AMM 47-21-41-400-001.
(2) Do the test given in para. 3.
(3) if the fault continues:
(a) Do a check and repair the:

wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/7 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/1
wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/36 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/2
wiring from IGGS CLT UNIT (1YA) pin A/59 to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/4
wiring from ground to GATE VLV (3YA) pin A/5 ASM 471101.

Subtask 47-11-00-740-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Do the test given in para. 3.

NOTE: After the subsequent flight make sure that the fault does not continue.
