3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 38-12-00-710-078-A
A. Aircraft configuration
   (1) Make sure that there is water in the potable water system, if necessary do the servicing AMM 12-15-38-613-001.
   (2) Make sure that the potable water system is pressurized AMM 38-10-00-614-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 38-12-00-810-065-A
A. If you see a flow of water from the potable water system:
  • do a check in the logbook to make sure if any work was performed on the system.
   (1) If work was done in the galley do a check and make sure that:
  • The water filter does not leak.
  • All connections , lines and plugs are tightened.
  • The interface to all other users does not leak.
   (2) If work was done in the lavatory:
  • Do a check and make sure that all connections and lines do not leak.
   (3) If the fault continues:
   (4) If leaks are found, tighten the connection or repair the line AMM 20-23-38-300-001, AMM 20-23-38-300-002 or AMM 20-23-38-300-048 and AMM 20-23-38-300-049.
5. Close-up

A. After consequent maintenance or repair, pressurize the potable water system and make sure that the system does not leak.
