A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
ENG2 PYLON LOOP A()
Subtask 36-22-00-710-134-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL ENG2 PYLON LOOP A()
- Remove BMC1 (1HA1) AMM 36-11-34-000-001.
- On the shelf 95VU, connect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP between connector 1HA1-AA/4D and the ground ASM 362201.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Replace BMC-1 [1HA1] AMM 36-11-34-000-001 and AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
- Do a visual inspection of the sensing elements and cables on the engine 2 pylon loop A.
- Replace the sensing element or cable AMM 36-22-15-000-802 and AMM 36-22-15-400-802.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC1 AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
- Disconnect the connector between cable 2HF2 and sensing element 1HF2.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
- Replace the CABLE-CONNECTING, ENG 2 PYLON [2HF2] ESPM 204422.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
- Do a check and repair the wiring between pin AA/4D of BMC1 (1HA1) and cable 2HF2 ASM 362201.
- Connect all the cables or connectors disconnected.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC1 (1HA1) AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
- Connect all the cables or connectors disconnected.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC1 (1HA1) AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
- Disconnect the connector between cable 3HF2 and sensing element 6HF2.
- Connect the connector between cable 2HF2 and sensing element 1HF2.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
- Disconnect the connector between cable 4HF2 and sensing element 1HF2.
- Connect the connector between cable 3HF2 and sensing element 6HF2.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
* If the impedance is less than 17 kOhms:
- Replace the SNSG ELEM-OVHT, ENG 2 PYLON [1HF2] AMM 36-22-15-000-803 and AMM 36-22-15-400-803.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC-1 [1HA1] AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
* If the impedance is more than 17 kOhms:
- Disconnect the connector between cable 5HF2 and sensing element 6HF2.
- Connect the connector between cable 4HF2 and sensing element 1HF2.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
** If the impedance is more than 10 kOhms:
- Replace the SENSING ELEMENT-OVHT, R PYLON LOOP A [6HF2] AMM 36-22-15-000-802 and AMM 36-22-15-400-802.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC-1 [1HA1] AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
** If the impedance is less than 10 kOhms:
- Replace the CABLE-CONNECTING, R PYLON LOOP A [4HF2] and CABLE-CONNECTING, R PYLON LOOP A [5HF2] ESPM 204422.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC-1 [1HA1] AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
- Replace the CABLE ASSY [3HF2] ESPM 204422.
- Connect all the cables or connectors disconnected.
- Do a check of the impedance read on the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP.
* If the impedance is less than 10 kOhms:
- Do a check and repair the wiring between pin AA/5D of BMC1 (1HA1) and cable 3HF2 ASM 362201.
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC1 (1HA1) AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
* If the impedance is more than 10 kOhms:
- Disconnect the 9240SI CONTROLLER-LOOP from the BMC1 connector.
- Install BMC1 (1HA1) AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
- Refer to Para. 4.B.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
