B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
   (3) On panel 30VU, make sure that the OFF legends on the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches are on.

C. Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.Do the self test of the ECB AMM 49-00-00-710-005.
2.Start the APU AMM 49-00-00-860-005.
3.On the panel 30VU:
  • push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch.
On the panel 30VU:
  • the ON legend on the APU BLEED pushbutton switch comes on.
NOTE: The APU supplies bleed-air after approx. 5 seconds.

On the SD:
  • the APU bleed-valve symbol shows the APU bleed valve in the open (GREEN) position.
4.On the MCDU:
On the MCDU:
  • The APU LAST LEG/PREVIOUS LEG report comes into the view.
Do a check for fault messages and/or warning messages.
  • If fault message or warning message is/are shown, record it.
5.On the panel 30VU:
  • push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch.
On the panel 30VU:
  • the ON legend on the APU BLEED pushbutton switch goes off.

On the SD:
  • the APU bleed-valve symbol shows the APU bleed valve in the closed (GREEN) position.
6.Stop the APU AMM 49-00-00-860-006.

C. Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.Do the self test of the ECB AMM 49-00-00-710-009.
2.Start the APU AMM 49-00-00-860-008.
3.On the panel 30VU:
  • push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch.
On the panel 30VU:
  • the ON legend on the APU BLEED pushbutton switch comes on.
NOTE: The APU supplies bleed-air after approx. 5 seconds.

On the SD:
  • the APU bleed-valve symbol shows the APU bleed valve in the open (GREEN) position.

6.Stop the APU AMM 49-00-00-860-009.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 36-12-00-810-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Troubleshoot the Maintenance Message/s given by the APU self test.
   (1) Do the test given in Para. 3.
Subtask 36-12-00-810-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Maintenance Action
   (1) If the APU LAST LEG/PREVIOUS LEG report shows some fault message or warning message:
     (a) Do the troubleshooting related to the fault shown
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Replace the P/BSW-AIR COND/APU BLEED [5HV] on panel 30VU.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (3) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check and repair if necessary the wiring between:
  • the BMC-1, BMC-2 Pin AB/6A and the ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX (59KD) Pin AB/6D ASM 361201.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (4) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between:
  • the BMC-1, BMC-2 Pin AA/14C and the APU BLEED P/BSW (5HV) Pin A/B1 ASM 361201
  • the APU BLEED P/BSW (5HV) Pin A/B3 and GND ASM 361201.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (5) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between:
  • the BMC-1, BMC-2 Pin AA/15C and the ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX (59KD) Pin AA/14D ASM 361201
  • the ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX (59KD) Pin AB/6G and the APU LOAD-CONTROL VALVE connector P33 AWM 496102
  • the ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX (59KD) Pin AB/7G and the APU LOAD-CONTROL VALVE connector P33 AWM 496102.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (6) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (7) If the fault continues:

B. Maintenance Action
   (1) If the APU LAST LEG/PREVIOUS LEG report shows some fault message or warning message:
     (a) Do the troubleshooting related to the fault shown.
   (2) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair if necessary the wiring between:
    the BMC-1, BMC-2 connector AB/6A and the ECB (ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX) (59KD) connector AB/D6 ASM 361201.
  • Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (3) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between:
    the BMC-1, BMC-2 connector AA/14C and the APU BLEED P/BSW (5HV) connector A/B1 ASM 361201,
    the APU BLEED P/BSW (5HV) connector A/B3 and GND ASM 361201.
  • Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (4) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check of the wiring between:
       1 Pin AA/15C of BMC-1 (and BMC-2) and connector P7 of the APU LOAD-CONTROL VALVE ASM 361201.
       2 Connector P7 of the APU LOAD-CONTROL VALVE and the GND ASM 361201.
         a If you find damage, repair or replace the wiring ESPM 205321.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
   (5) If the fault continues:

C. Do the test as given in para. 3 to make sure that the operation is correct.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
