A. Only do this trouble shooting procedure if is shown the warning message AIR ENG 2 BLEED FAULT and no maintenance message associated is shown.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 36-11-00-810-788-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Functional Test

NOTE: It is necessary to make sure that the overpressure valve operates correctly after an overpressure at the take-off.

(1) Do the functional test of the overpressure valve AMM 36-11-53-720-001.
(a) If the test is not OK:
1 Replace the VALVE-OVERPRESSURE, ENG 2 [5HA2] AMM 36-11-53-000-001 and AMM 36-11-53-400-001.
(b) If the test is OK:
1 Continue the troubleshooting procedure.

Subtask 36-11-00-810-789-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. If the fault continues:
(1) Do the pressure regulator test of the pressure regulator valve AMM 36-11-00-720-810.
(2) If the pressure value is lower than 42 psi (2.90 bar):
(a) Do the functional test of the sense line between the pressure regulator valve and the pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid AMM 36-11-00-720-010.
1 If the test is not OK:

Repair or replace the sense line for leakage AMM 36-11-49-000-029 and AMM 36-11-49-400-029.

2 If the test is OK:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.

(3) If the pressure value is more than 56 psi (3.86 bar):
(a) For PRV 6774G with sense line 6 installed:
1 Do a functional test of the sense line connected between the bleed pressure regulator valve and the duct assy AMM 36-11-00-720-013.
a If the test is not OK:

Repair the sense line for leakage AMM 36-11-49-000-027 and AMM 36-11-49-400-027.

b If the test is OK:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.

(b) For the PRV 6774G without sense line 6 installed:
1 Do a check of the blancking plug of the IPT and RPT.
a If the blanking plug is damaged, replace it.
b If the blanking plug is in the correct condition:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.

(4) Do an Operational Test of the Bleed Air System AMM 36-11-00-710-003

Subtask 36-11-00-810-790-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. During the next five flights, make sure that the fault does not occur again.
(1) If the fault continues:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.

(2) If the fault continues:

Replace the VALVE-HP BLEED [4000HA] AMM 36-11-51-000-040 and AMM 36-11-51-400-040.

Subtask 36-11-00-810-789-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

D. If the fault continues:
(1) Do the pressure regulator test of the pressure regulator valve AMM 36-11-00-720-810.
(2) If the pressure value is lower than 42 psi (2.90 bar):
(a) Do the functional test of the sense line between the pressure regulator valve and the pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid AMM 36-11-00-720-010.
1 If the test is not OK:

Repair or replace the sense line for leakage AMM 36-11-49-000-820 and AMM 36-11-49-400-820.

2 If the test is OK:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.

Repair the sense line for leakage AMM 36-11-49-000-028 and AMM 36-11-49-400-028.

b If the test is OK:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.

(4) Do an Operational Test of the Bleed Air System AMM 36-11-00-710-003

E. During the next five flights, make sure that the fault does not occur again.
(1) If the fault continues:

Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.

(2) If the fault continues:

Replace the VALVE-HP BLEED [4000HA] AMM 36-11-51-000-042 and AMM 36-11-51-400-042.
