3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 36-11-00-710-244-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do the BITE test of the BMC2 AMM 36-11-00-740-001.
4. Fault Isolation
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WITH THE SEMI-FLEXIBLE SENSE LINE. DEFORMATION OF THE RIGID PART OR LARGE DEFORMATION OF THE FLEXIBLE PART CAN QUICKLY CAUSE LEAKAGE.
CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES DURING DISCONNECTION OF THE SENSE LINE, ONE TO MAINTAIN THE FIXED NUT AND THE SECOND ONE TO LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE SENSE LINE COUPLING.
Subtask 36-11-00-810-149-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives a maintenance message:
  • Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
   (1) If there is no maintenance message:
  • Do a check of the sense line unions at the bleed-pressure regulator valve of the engine 2 (4001HA) and the related control solenoid (10HA2).
     (a) If the unions are loose:
  • TORQUE them to between 1.76 and 1.44 m.daN (12.98 and 10.62 lbf.ft ) T.
     (b) If the unions are correctly tighten:
       1 If the pressure decreases quickly:
       2 If the pressure decreases slowly or stays constant:
  • Do a check for leaks on the sense line at the engine/pylon connection.
    To do this, move the sense line manually
         a If the pressure decreases quickly:
         b If the pressure decreases slowly:

  • Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
   (1) If there is no maintenance message:
  • Do a check of the sense line unions at the bleed-pressure regulator valve of the engine 2 (4001HA) and the related control solenoid (10HA2).

  • TORQUE them to between 1.76 and 1.44 m.daN (12.98 and 10.62 lbf.ft ) T.

    To do this, manually move the sense line.
