B. Test
(1) Approximately thirty minutes after the engine shutdown, on the AIR COND control panel 30VU, do a check of the position of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Approximately thirty minutes after the engine shutdown, on the AIR COND control panel 30VU, do a check of the position of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch.
NOTE: During the engine shutdown, the bleed-pressure regulator valve can close slowly, without closure command. The cause of this slow closure can be a decreased segmentation play.
(a) If the pushbutton switch is pushed (system on): - On the ECAM control panel 11VU, push the BLEED key (the BLEED page comes into view on the lower ECAM DU).
- On the BLEED page, do a check of the symbol of the bleed-pressure regulator valve (4001HA).
- No more maintenance is necessary.
- Pressurize the bleed system with the APU AMM 36-12-00-860-001 or with the engine at idle AMM 71-00-00-710-003.
- If the bleed system is pressurized with the engine at idle, release the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
- On the BLEED page, do a check of the symbol of the bleed-pressure regulator valve (4001HA).
- No more maintenance is necessary.

A. Do a check of the visual position indicator of the bleed pressure regulator valve.
(1) If the visual position indicator is in the closed position:

- disconnect the electrical connector 4001HA-A and make sure that there is continuity between pin A/5 and A/3.
- on the wiring side, do a check for ground at the connector 4001HA-A pin 3.
- do a check and repair the wiring from the bleed pressure regulator valve 4001HA-A pin A/5 and the BMC1 pin AA/2B ASM 361101.
- do a check and repair the wiring from the connector 4001HA-A pin 3 to the ground point ASM 361101.
- replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.
- disconnect the sense line between the bleed pressure regulator valve and the bleed-pressure-regulated valve-control solenoid.
- replace the SOLENOID-BLEED PRESS REG V CTL, ENG 1 [10HA1] AMM 36-11-55-000-001 and AMM 36-11-55-400-001.
- replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-040 and AMM 36-11-52-400-040.
- refer to Para. 4B.
- replace the P/BSW-ENG 1 BLEED [4HA1] .
- do a check and repair the wiring ASM 361101 between:
. pin 2 of the AIR BLEED/ENG 1/CTL circuit breaker (3HA1) and pin AA/8A of the BMC 1 (1HA1)
. pin 2 of the AIR BLEED/ENG 1/CTL circuit breaker and pin A/D2 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch (4HA1)
. pin AA/7A of the BMC 1 and pin A/D1 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch
. pin A/D3 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch and pin A/1 of the engine 1 bleed pressure regulator valve control solenoid (10HA1)
. pin A/2 of the engine 1 bleed pressure regulator valve control solenoid and the ground.
A. Do a check of the visual position indicator of the bleed pressure-regulator valve.

- Do a check and repair the wiring from the bleed pressure-regulator valve 4001HA-A pin A/5 and the BMC1 pin AA/2B ASM 361101.
- Do a check and repair the wiring from the connector 4001HA-A pin 3 to the ground point ASM 361101.
- Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.
- Disconnect the sense line between the bleed pressure-regulator valve and the bleed pressure-regulator valve-control solenoid.
- Replace the SOLENOID-BLEED PRESS REG V CTL, ENG 1 [10HA1] AMM 36-11-55-000-001 and AMM 36-11-55-400-001.
- Replace the VALVE-BLEED PRESS REG [4001HA] AMM 36-11-52-000-042 and AMM 36-11-52-400-042.
- Refer to Para. 4B.
- Replace the P/BSW-ENG 1 BLEED [4HA1] .
- Do a check and repair the wiring ASM 361101 between:
. Pin 2 of the AIR BLEED/ENG 1/CTL circuit breaker (3HA1) and pin AA/8A of the BMC 1 (1HA1)
. Pin 2 of the AIR BLEED/ENG 1/CTL circuit breaker and pin A/D2 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch (4HA1)
. Pin AA/7A of the BMC 1 and pin A/D1 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch
. Pin A/D3 of the ENG 1 BLEED pushbutton switch and pin A/1 of the engine 1 bleed pressure regulator valve control solenoid (10HA1)
. Pin A/2 of the engine 1 bleed pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid and the ground.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Do the EIS stop procedure

(2) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
