A. If the AIR BLEED ECAM message is shown without a maintenance message in the PFR:
(2) If no class II fault is shown in the BMC Ground Report, you can ignore the AIR BLEED message and continue this procedure to remove it:
(a) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST PNEU menu page AMM 31-32-00-860-011.
(b) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the BMC1(2) indication.
1 If the BMC1(2) page does not come into view:
a Do a check of the wiring between:
- Do a check for a class II fault in the BMC Ground Report:
(2) If no class II fault is shown in the BMC Ground Report, you can ignore the AIR BLEED message and continue this procedure to remove it:
- Open the circuit breakers EIS/FWC2/SPLY (2WW) and FWS/FWC1/SPLY (3WW) for 5 to 10 seconds to cancel the AIR BLEED status maintenance, then close them.
NOTE: Approximately two minutes are necessary for the full initialization of the FWCs.
NOTE: The reset of BMC1 and/or BMC2 will not cancel the AIR BLEED maintenance status on the ECAM STATUS page. If this maintenance status came into view after a power transfer, it can go out of view after the next engine start and will not come into view again after engine shutdown.
NOTE: The AIR BLEED maintenance status is applicable when it is shown, after engine shutdown, in the post flight report as an ECAM warning with the related CFDS fault message.
NOTE: To erase the AIR BLEED, the only condition is to start the FWC Flight phase 1. After the engine shutdown, the A/C will be in Flight phase 10. Three hundred seconds later, the start of the Flight phase 1 should reset the AIR BLEED.
(3) If the fault continues:(a) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST PNEU menu page AMM 31-32-00-860-011.
(b) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the BMC1(2) indication.
1 If the BMC1(2) page does not come into view:
a Do a check of the wiring between:
- Pin AA/10C of BMC1 (1HA1) and pin AB/12G of SDAC1 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/11C of BMC1 (1HA1) and pin AB/12H of SDAC1 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/10C of BMC1 (1HA1) and pin AE/12C of SDAC1 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/11C of BMC1 (1HA1) and pin AE/12D of SDAC1 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/10C of BMC2 (1HA2) and pin AB/12G of SDAC2 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/11C of BMC2 (1HA2) and pin AB/12H of SDAC2 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/10C of BMC2 (1HA2) and pin AE/12C of SDAC2 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Pin AA/11C of BMC2 (1HA2) and pin AE/12D of SDAC2 (1WV1) ASM 315403.
- Repair the wiring .
- Replace BMC-1 [1HA1] or BMC-2 [1HA2] AMM 36-11-34-000-001 and AMM 36-11-34-400-001.
NOTE: The AIR BLEED maintenance status on the ECAM STATUS page is an unwanted message. You can ignore it.
a Open the AIR BLEED/ENG 1/MONG (2HA1), AIR BLEED/ENG 1/CTL (3HA1) circuit breakers, AIR BLEED/ENG 2/MONG (2HA2) and AIR BLEED/ENG 2/CTL (3HA2) circuit breakers during 5 to 10 seconds, then close them.
