Fast Loss of Crew Oxygen
WARNING:
KEEP ALL HYDROCARBONS (FUELS, LUBRICANTS, ETC.) AWAY FROM ALL SOURCE OF OXYGEN. OXYGEN BECOMES EXPLOSIVE WHEN IT TOUCHES HYDROCARBONS.
WARNING:
CLEAN THE TOOLS AND MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.
WARNING:
IF YOU FIND AN OXYGEN LEAK, RELEASE THE OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY PUSHBUTTON SWITCH (THE OFF LEGEND COMES ON) TO STOP THE OPERATION OF THE OXYGEN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
IF THE LEAK CONTINUES, CLOSE ALL THE MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVES OF THE OXYGEN CYLINDERS. MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR IN THE AREA OF THE LEAK. OXYGEN CAN CAUSE EXPLOSIVE FIRES. THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
PUT DRY, CLEAN, METAL OR PLASTIC PLUGS ON ALL PIPES OR UNITS REMOVED TEMPORARILY. PUT EACH PIPE OR UNIT IN A SEALED VINYL BAG.

C. Test
(1) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key to get the DOOR/OXY page.
(2) Do a check of the oxygen pressure indication(s).
4. Fault Isolation(1) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key to get the DOOR/OXY page.
(2) Do a check of the oxygen pressure indication(s).
Subtask 35-10-00-810-080-A
A. If the oxygen pressure indication decreases quickly:
(1) In the cockpit, on the OXYGEN section of the overhead control and indicating panel 21VU:
(a) Close the manual shutoff valve(s) of (all) the oxygen cylinder(s).
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the manual shutoff valve(s).
(3) Do the leakage test of the LP oxygen system for the crew AMM 35-10-00-790-001 to find and repair the leaks as necessary.
(a) If the fault continues:
5. Close-up(1) In the cockpit, on the OXYGEN section of the overhead control and indicating panel 21VU:
- Push the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the oxygen system.
- Do a leak check at the connections of the oxygen cylinder(s) and at the pressure regulator/transmitter(s) with Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) .
- If you find a leak, replace the defective component(s) and do the leak check again.
- Remove the Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 35-10-00-860-064-A
