A. Test
Do the BITE test of the ADF (system 1) AMM 34-53-00-740-003.

NOTE: Do the test with the EIS DMC selector switch (18WT) on the SWITCHING panel (8VU) at NORM then at F/O/3.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-53-00-810-084-A

A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1/2/3 (1WT1/2/3)/DDRMI (1FN)/ADF1 (2RP1) with the EIS DMC selector switch at NORM only:

(1) If the fault continues:

remove the DMC2
do a check and repair the wiring between the DMC2 and the first terminal block : for pins AA/8C, 8D of the DMC2 ASM 345301
install the DMC2.

B. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1/2/3 (1WT1/2/3)/DDRMI (1FN)/ADF1 (2RP1) with the EIS DMC selector switch at F/O/3 only:

(1) If the fault continues:

remove the DMC3
do a check and repair the wiring between the DMC3 and the first terminal block : for pins AA/8C, 8D of the DMC3 ASM 345301
install the DMC3.
