B. Do a reset of the ATC/Mode S transponder 1 (1SH1) as follows:
On the overhead C/B panel 49VU:

C. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the ATC1 AMM 34-52-00-740-004.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-52-00-810-104-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives the maintenance message MMR1(40RT1)/ATC1(1SH1):

(1) If the fault continues:

(a) If the fault continues:

remove the ATC/Mode S transponder 1.
remove the MMR1.
do a check and repair the wiring from the ATC/Mode S transponder 1 to the MMR1: from pins AA/2A, 2B to pins AB/9E, 9F (GNSS OUT3) ASM 345202.
install the ATC/Mode S transponder 1.
install the MMR1.

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
