A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation, incorrect identification codes shown on the NDs:
- do the functional test of the DME AMM 34-51-00-720-001.
- no maintenance action is required.
NOTE: The display of incorrect identification codes on the NDs can result from a bad transmission from the ground station.
