1. Possible Causes

wiring of the FLAPS discrete from the GPWC (1WZ) to the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ)

Not applicable, you cannot confirm this fault on the ground.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-48-00-810-088-A

A. Do the procedure:

on the GPWS section of panel 21VU, make sure that the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ) is not pushed (OFF legend is off)
on the center pedestal, on the panel 114VU, put the flap and slat control lever in the 0 position
make sure that there is no ground at pin AB/9C of the GPWC (1WZ).

(1) If there is ground:

do a check for a short to ground at the wiring of the FLAPS discrete from the GPWC (1WZ) to the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ) : pin A/B1 ASM 344801.
