On the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set the ATC1 to on and do the BITE test of the ATC (system 1) AMM 34-52-00-740-004.

C. TCAS Test
Do the BITE test of the TCAS AMM 34-43-00-740-001.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-43-00-810-081-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the ATC1 test gives the maintenance message ATC-1:NO DATA FROM TCAS, and if the TCAS test gives the maintenance message TCAS (1SG):

on the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set the ATC2 to on and do the BITE test of the ATC (system 2) AMM 34-52-00-740-004.

(1) If the test gives the maintenance message ATC-2:NO DATA FROM TCAS:

replace the CMPTR-TCAS [1SG] AMM 34-43-34-000-001 and AMM 34-43-34-400-001
if the fault continues, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the TCAS computer (1SG) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC AWM 344305.

(2) If the test is OK, do the BITE test of the TCAS AMM 34-43-00-740-001:

if the test is OK, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the ATC transponder 1 (1SH1) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC AWM 345203.

Subtask 34-43-00-810-081-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the ATC1 test gives the maintenance message TCAS(1SG)/ATC1(1SH1) and if the TCAS test gives the maintenance message TCAS (1SG):

on the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set the ATC2 to on and do the BITE test of the ATC (system 2) AMM 34-52-00-740-004.

(1) If the test gives the maintenance message TCAS(1SG)/ ATC2(1SH2)

replace the CMPTR-TCAS [1SG] AMM 34-43-34-000-001 and AMM 34-43-34-400-001
if the fault continues, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the TCAS computer (1SG) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC AWM 344305.

(2) If the test is OK, do the BITE test of the TCAS AMM 34-43-00-740-001:

if the test is OK, do a check and repair the suppressor coaxial cable from the ATC transponder 1 (1SH1) pin AC/12 to the connector 150VC AWM 345203.
