A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
   (1) Replace the weather radar transceiver for which the fault occurred:
   (2) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.

   (1) Replace the CTL UNIT-WEATHER RADAR [3SQ] AMM 34-41-12-000-001 and AMM 34-41-12-400-001.
   (2) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.

C. If the fault continues:
Do a check and repair the wiring of the weather radar transceiver for which the fault occurred.
   (1) For the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1)
     (a) Remove the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 AMM 34-41-33-000-004.
     (b) Remove the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) AMM 31-53-33-000-001.
     (c) Remove the CAPT LOUDSPEAKER (7WW) AMM 31-53-21-000-001.
     (d) Do a check and repair the wiring from:
  • The XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1) pin AB/8K to the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/C
  • The XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1) pin AB/9K to the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/D
  • The AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/J to the CAPT LOUDSPEAKER (7WW) pin A/R
  • The AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/K to the CAPT LOUDSPEAKER (7WW) pin A/S
    ASM 344102 and ASM 315204.
     (e) Install the CAPT LOUDSPEAKER (7WW) AMM 31-53-21-400-001.
     (f) Install the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) AMM 31-53-33-400-001.
     (g) Install the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 AMM 34-41-33-400-003.
     (h) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.
   (2) For the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (1SQ2)
     (a) Remove the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (1SQ2) AMM 34-41-33-000-004.
     (b) Remove the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) AMM 31-53-33-000-001.
     (c) Remove the F/O LOUDSPEAKER (8WW) AMM 31-53-21-000-001.
     (d) Do a check and repair the wiring from:
  • The XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 pin AB/8K to the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/A
  • The XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 pin AB/9K to the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/B
  • The AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/G to the F/O LOUDSPEAKER (8WW) pin A/R
  • The AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) pin A/H to the F/O LOUDSPEAKER (8WW) pin A/S
    ASM 344102 and ASM 315204.
     (e) Install the F/O LOUDSPEAKER (8WW) AMM 31-53-21-400-001.
     (f) Install the AUDIO MIXING BOX (15WW) AMM 31-53-33-400-001.
     (g) Install the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (1SQ2) AMM 34-41-33-400-003.
     (h) Do the test(s) given in the Para. Fault Confirmation.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
