A. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the weather radar 1 with the EIS DMC selector switch on the SWITCHING panel 8VU in F/O/3 position AMM 34-41-00-740-002.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do the BITE test of the weather radar 1 with the EIS DMC selector switch on the SWITCHING panel 8VU in F/O/3 position AMM 34-41-00-740-002.
Subtask 34-41-00-810-099-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test result is satisfactory:
(1) Replace the DMC-2 [1WT2] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
(2) If the fault continues:
Subtask 34-41-00-810-099-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Replace the DMC-2 [1WT2] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
(2) If the fault continues:
- Do a check of the wiring between DMC2 (1WT2) pins AA/12A, 12B and terminal block 1851VT39 pins C, H and between DMC2 (1WT2) pins AA/12C, 12D and terminal block 1851VT38 pins H, C ASM 344101.
A. If the test result is satisfactory:
(1) Replace the DMC-2 [1WT2] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
(2) If the fault continues:
Subtask 34-41-00-810-100-A (1) Replace the DMC-2 [1WT2] AMM 31-63-34-000-001 and AMM 31-63-34-400-001.
(2) If the fault continues:
- Do a check of the wiring between DMC2 (1WT2) pins AA/11A, 11B and terminal block 1851VT39 pins C, H and between DMC2 (1WT2) pins AA/11J, 11K and terminal block 1851VT38 pins H, C ASM 344101.
B. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1/2/3(1WT1/2/3)/WXR1(1SQ1):
(1) Replace the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 [1SQ1] AMM 34-41-33-000-004 and AMM 34-41-33-400-003.
(2) If the fault continues:
5. Close-up(1) Replace the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 [1SQ1] AMM 34-41-33-000-004 and AMM 34-41-33-400-003.
(2) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring between weather radar transceiver 1 (1SQ1) pins AB/2G, 3G and terminal block 1851VT38 pins J, D and between weather radar transceiver 1 (1SQ1) pins AB/2D, 3D and terminal block 1851VT39 pins D, J ASM 344101.
