A. If the tests give the maintenance messages from the two MMRs
MLS CAPTURE ANT(56RT)/ COAX CABLE MMR1(40RT1) and MLS CAPTURE ANT(56RT)/ COAX CABLE MMR2(40RT2):

replace the [56RT] AMM 34-36-19-000-001 and AMM 34-36-19-400-001.

(1) If the tests only give the maintenance message from the MMR1
MLS CAPTURE ANT(56RT)/ COAX CABLE MMR1(40RT1):

replace the MMR-1 [40RT1] AMM 34-36-31-000-001 and AMM 34-36-31-400-001.

(a) If the fault continues:

remove the MMR1 AMM 34-36-31-000-001
disconnect the coaxial cable from the MLS capture antenna
make sure that there is continuity on the coaxial cable between the MMR1 and the MLS capture antenna ASM 343600
replace the coaxial cable if necessary
make sure that there is discontinuity between the core and the shield of the coaxial cable of the MLS capture antenna
repair if necessary
install the MMR1 AMM 34-36-31-400-001.
connect the coaxial cable to the MLS capture antenna.

(2) If the tests only give the maintenance message from the MMR2 MLS CAPTURE ANT(56RT)/ COAX CABLE MMR2 (40RT2):

replace the MMR-2 [40RT2] AMM 34-36-31-000-001 and AMM 34-36-31-400-001.

(a) If the fault continues:

remove the MMR2 AMM 34-36-31-000-001
make sure that there is continuity on the coaxial cable between the MMR2 and the MLS capture antenna ASM 343600
replace the coaxial cable if necessary
make sure that there is discontinuity between the core and the shield of the coaxial cable of the MLS capture antenna
repair if necessary
install the receiver MMR2 AMM 34-36-31-400-001.
