Do the BITE test of the MMR2 AMM 34-36-00-740-003.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message
GPS ANTENNA2(43RT2)/COAX CABLE/MMR2(40RT2):
  • remove the MMR2 AMM 34-36-31-000-001
  • remove the GPS antenna 2 AMM 34-36-16-000-001
  • make sure that there is no moisture and/or corrosion on the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 2
  • if you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51740000 for types, inspection, removal, and corrosion protection
  • make sure that there is continuity on the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 2 AMM 20-28-00-912-003
  • replace the coaxial cable if necessary
  • make sure that there is discontinuity between the core and shield of the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 2
  • repair if necessary.
