A. If the test gives the maintenance message
GPS ANTENNA1(43RT1)/COAX CABLE/MMR1(40RT1):
Subtask 34-36-00-740-113-A GPS ANTENNA1(43RT1)/COAX CABLE/MMR1(40RT1):
- remove the MMR1 AMM 34-36-31-000-001
- remove the GPS antenna 1 AMM 34-36-16-000-001
- make sure that there is no moisture and/or corrosion on the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 1
- if you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51740000 for types, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
- make sure that there is continuity on the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 1 AMM 20-28-00-912-003
- replace the coaxial cable if necessary
- make sure that there is discontinuity between the core and shield of the coaxial cable of the GPS antenna 1
- repair if necessary.
- install the MMR1 AMM 34-36-31-400-001
- install the GPS antenna 1 AMM 34-36-16-400-001.
- install a new ANTENNA-GPS ACTIVE, 1 [43RT1] AMM 34-36-16-400-001
- install the MMR1 AMM 34-36-31-400-001.
