1. Possible Causes
  • MMR-2 [40RT2]
  • wiring between the MMR receiver 2 and the first ground terminal
  • wiring between the circuit breaker (42RT2) and the MMR receiver 2

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 34-36-00-740-192-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. On the circuit breaker panel 121VU:
  • Do a reset of the MMR2 (40RT2) through the C/B 42RT2 for more than 10 seconds (open and close this C/B).

B. Test
Do the BITE test of the MMR2 AMM 34-36-00-740-003.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-36-00-810-160-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test does not give the maintenance message MMR2 (40RT2):
  • No maintenance action is necessary.

B. If the test gives the maintenance message MMR2 (40RT2):
   (1) If there is no ground signal:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring between the MMR receiver 2 and the first ground terminal : pin AC/7 of the MMR receiver 2 ASM 343601
  • Install the MMR receiver 2 AMM 34-36-31-400-001.
   (2) If there is a ground signal:
  • Remove the safety clip and the tag and close this circuit breaker:
    42RT1
  • Do a check for 115VAC between pins AC/7 and AC/9 of the MMR receiver 2.
  • Open, safety and tag this circuit breaker:
    42RT2
     (a) If there is no 115VAC:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring between the circuit breaker (42RT2) and the MMR receiver 2: pin AC/9 of the MMR receiver 2 ASM 343601
  • Install the MMR 2 AMM 34-36-31-400-001.
     (b) If there is 115VAC:
