A. Job Set-up
(1) Do the ADIRS start procedure AMM 34-10-00-860-002.

B. Test
(1) On the ADIRS CDU, make sure that the ALIGN legend of the IR 2 annunciator comes on.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-14-00-810-140-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the ALIGN legend of the IR 2 annunciator does not come on:

on the panel 25VU, set the INT LT/ANN LT switch to TEST and make sure that the ALIGN legend comes on.

(1) If the ALIGN legend comes on:

replace the ADIRU-2 [1FP2] AMM 34-12-34-000-001 and AMM 34-12-34-400-001.

(a) If the ALIGN legend stays off during the ADIRS start procedure:

replace the BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [18LP] AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.

1 If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of the ALIGN discrete from the ADIRU2 (1FP2) to the annunciator light test and interface board (18LP) ASM 341402.

(2) If the ALIGN legend does not come on:

replace the BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [18LP] AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.

(a) If the fault continues:

replace the CDU-ADIRS [2FP] AMM 34-12-12-000-001 and AMM 34-12-12-400-001.

1 If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring of the annunciator light test and interface board (18LP)
. from pin A/22 to ADIRS CDU (2FP) pin B/14
. from pin A/23 to the ground point ASM 341402.

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.B.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

(2) Do the ADIRS stop procedure AMM 34-10-00-860-005.
