  • wiring between the ADIRS CDU (2FP) and the ADIRU1 (1FP1)

A. Test
   (1) Not applicable, you cannot confirm this fault on the ground.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-13-81-810-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the POST FLIGHT REPORT gives the NAV ADR1 FAULT ECAM warning:
  • do a check of the status of the ADR1 pushbutton switch on the ADIRS CDU.
   (1) If the pilot pushed the ADR1 pushbutton switch during the flight:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
   (2) If the pilot did not push the ADR1 pushbutton switch during the flight:
     (a) If there is a short to ground:
     (b) If there is no short to ground:
  • install a new ADIRS CDU
  • install the ADIRU1.
       1 If the fault continues:
  • replace the ADIRU1.

A. If the POST FLIGHT REPORT gives the NAV ADR1 FAULT ECAM warning:
  • Do a check of the status of the ADR1 pushbutton switch on the ADIRS MSU.
   (1) If the pilot pushed the ADR1 pushbutton switch during the flight:
  • No maintenance action is necessary.
   (2) If the pilot did not push the ADR1 pushbutton switch during the flight:
  • Remove the ADIRU-1 [1FP1] AMM 34-12-34-000-001
  • Do a check for a short to ground of the wiring between pin A/A1 of the ADIRS/ADR1 pushbutton switch (26FP1) and pin AA/4C of the ADIRU1 (1FP1) ASM 341302.
     (a) If there is a short to ground:
     (b) If there is no short to ground:
       1 If the fault continues:
