Loss of the AOA 2 Input to the ADR 2
1. Possible Causes
- SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 2 [3FP2]
- ADIRU-2 [1FP2]
wiring from the angle of attack sensor 2 (3FP2) to the AOA INPUTS 1 and 2 of the ADIRU 2 (1FP2)
A. Referenced Information
| REFERENCE | DESIGNATION |
|---|---|
| ASM 341102 | |
| AMM 34-11-19-000-001 | Removal of the Angle of Attack Sensor |
| AMM 34-11-19-400-001 | Installation of the Angle of Attack Sensor |
| AMM 34-12-34-000-001 | Removal of the ADIRU |
| AMM 34-12-34-400-001 | Installation of the ADIRU |

Subtask 34-13-00-740-213-A 4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-13-00-810-156-B
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AOA SENSOR2 (3FP2)/ ADIRU2 (1FP2):
Subtask 34-13-00-810-255-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - replace the SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 2 [3FP2] AMM 34-11-19-000-001 and AMM 34-11-19-400-001.
- replace the ADIRU-2 [1FP2] AMM 34-12-34-000-001 and AMM 34-12-34-400-001.
- do a check and repair the
wiring from the angle of attack sensor 2 (3FP2) to the AOA INPUTS 1 and 2 of the ADIRU 2 (1FP2) ASM 341102.
B. If the test is OK, do a visual inspection of the angle of attack sensors:
(1) If an angle of attack sensor is found damaged:
Subtask 34-13-00-740-214-A (1) If an angle of attack sensor is found damaged:
- replace the angle of attack sensor.
- keep the angle of attack sensor on the aircraft.
- replace the angle of attack sensor.
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.
