1. Possible Causes
  • SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 3 [3FP3]
2. Job Set-up Information
 A. Referenced Information
REFERENCE
DESIGNATION
AMM 34-11-19-000-001

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 34-11-00-710-094-A
A. Test
Not applicable, you cannot confirm this fault on the ground.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-11-00-810-212-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the PFR gives the class2 fault message AOA SNSR3 (3FP3)/ADIRU3 (1FP3) and the logbook gives the maintenance status "ADR3":
  • Do a visual check of the angle of attack sensor 3 (3FP3).
   (1) If the angle of attack sensor 3 (3FP3) is damaged:
   (2) If the angle of attack sensor 3 (3FP3) is not damaged:
  • No other action is necessary.
     (a) After the subsequent flight, if the fault continues:
Subtask 34-11-00-810-212-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

Subtask 34-11-00-810-213-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the maintenance message AOA SNSR3 (3FP3)/ADIRU3 (1FP3) is shown on the Ground Scanning report, after the test of the angle of attack warning:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
NOTE: At the end of the test, on the ADIRS MSU, it is necessary to set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switch related to the ADIRU3 to OFF for some seconds then to NAV to cancel the messages (fast re-alignment is not sufficient)
