TASK 34-11-00-810-892-A
Deterioration of the Angle of Attack Sensor 1

1. Possible Causes
  • SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 1 [3FP1]
2. Job Set-up Information
 A. Referenced Information
REFERENCE
DESIGNATION
AMM 34-11-19-000-001
Removal of the Angle of Attack Sensor
AMM 34-11-19-400-001
Installation of the Angle of Attack Sensor
3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 34-11-00-710-092-A
A. Test
Not applicable, you cannot confirm this fault on the ground.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-11-00-810-208-B
A. If the PFR gives the class2 fault message AOA SENSOR1 (3FP1)/ADIRU1 (1FP1) and the logbook gives the maintenance status "ADR1":
  • Do a visual check of the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1).
   (1) If the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) is damaged:
   (2) If the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) is not damaged:
  • No other action is necessary.
     (a) After the subsequent flight, if the fault continues:
  • Replace the SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 1 [3FP1] .
Subtask 34-11-00-810-209-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the maintenance message AOA SNSR1 (3FP1)/ADIRU1 (1FP1) is shown on the Ground Scanning report, after the test of the angle-of- attack warning:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
NOTE: At the end of the test, on the ADIRS CDU, it is necessary to set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switch related to the ADIRU1 to OFF for some seconds then to NAV to cancel the messages (fast re-alignment is not sufficient).
Subtask 34-11-00-810-209-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If the maintenance message AOA SNSR1 (3FP1)/ADIRU1 (1FP1) is shown on the Ground Scanning report, after the test of the angle-of-attack warning:
  • no maintenance action is necessary.
NOTE: At the end of the test, on the ADIRS MSU, it is necessary to set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switch related to the ADIRU1 to OFF for some seconds then to NAV to cancel the messages (fast re-alignment is not sufficient)
Subtask 34-11-00-810-209-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
