Loss of the Angle of Attack Sensor 1

TASK 34-11-00-810-829-A
Loss of the Angle of Attack Sensor 1

1. Possible Causes
  • SENSOR-ANGLE OF ATTACK, 1 [3FP1]
  • wiring
  • wiring from angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) pins A/B,N to the ground terminal
  • wiring from angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) pins A/A,M to the first terminal block
2. Job Set-up Information
 A. Referenced Information

Subtask 34-11-00-740-106-A
A. Test
Do the Interface test of the ADR (system 1) AMM 34-13-00-740-002.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 34-11-00-810-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AOA SENSOR 3FP1:
   (1) If the fault continues:
  • do a check and repair the wiring from the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) to the AOA INPUTS 1 and 2 of the ADIRU 1 (1FP1) ASM 341102.
Subtask 34-11-00-810-078-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AOA SENSOR1 (3FP1):
  • do a check for 26VAC at pins A/A,M of the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1).
   (1) If there is 26VAC:
   (2) If there is no 26VAC:
  • do a check for a ground signal at pins A/B,N of the angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1).
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) pins A/B,N to the ground terminal ASM 341101.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • repair the wiring from angle of attack sensor 1 (3FP1) pins A/A,M to the first terminal block ASM 341101.
Subtask 34-11-00-740-107-A
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
