A. Do a check of switch 22FP position.
4. Fault Isolation

A. Do a check for a message on the Post Flight Report (PFR).
If there is no message on the PFR:
   (1) With the warning message on the upper ECAM DU: "VFE........xxx":
  • do the inspection after flap/slat extension at more than the flap/slat limiting speed (VFE) AMM 05-51-13-200-001.
   (2) With the warning message on the upper ECAM DU: "VLE........280/.67":
  • do the inspection after landing gear extension at more than the geardown limiting speed (VLE). AMM 05-51-12-200-001.
   (3) With the warning message on the upper ECAM DU: "VMO/MMO.......350/.82":
     (a) In the avionics compartment, on the panel 188VU, make sure that the L/G DOWN VMO/MMO SELECTION switch 22FP is safetied in the position related to the aircraft last flight conditions:
  • in normal flight condition the switch 22FP must be safetied with lockwire in NORM position
  • in flight, with landing gear down condition, the switch 22FP must be at L/G DN.
     (b) If the switch 22FP is in the correct position:
  • do the inspection after in-flight excessive load factor due to turbulence or maneuver or in excess of VMO/MMO. AMM 05-51-17-200-001.
    If there is a message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
NOTE: Some warning messages are not printed on the PFR.
