CAUTION: DO NOT USE THE TEACH-IN PROCEDURE AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. A TEACH-IN PROCEDURE IS NOT A RESET PROCEDURE. BEFORE YOU DO A TEACH-IN PROCEDURE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CORRECTED ALL FAILURES. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS, FAILURES CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM.

A. Test
   (1) Do the Operational test of Emergency Lights by 'TEST EMER LIGHT SYS' pushbutton AMM 33-51-00-710-001.
   (2) Do the Battery Capacity Check by 'TEST EMER LIGHT BAT' pushbutton AMM 33-51-00-710-003.
NOTE: If you do the battery test, you must know that approximately 3 hours are necessary to do the test. In some conditions the battery test time can expand.

or

Replace the BATTERIES of all EPSUs by fully charged ones AMM 33-51-38-000-002 and AMM 33-51-38-400-002.
