A. If the test confirms the fault:
(1) Do a visual inspection of the lower anti-collision beacon light and make sure that the lens drain plug is not installed. This is necessary to prevent any condensation or liquid from collecting inside the light unit and allowing the liquid to drain away.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the installation around the lower power supply unit and check for any signs of corrosion, fluid or condensation on the connectors and wiring between the lower power supply unit and the lower anti-collision beacon light
(a) If signs of corrosion, fluid or condensation are found, make sure that the corroded parts are replaced and the area is cleaned and fully dried.
(3) Operate the cockpit EXT LT BEACON-SWITCH (2LV):
(a) Toggle the cockpit EXT LT BEACON-SWITCH (2LV) to OFF position for more than 3 seconds.
(b) Toggle the cockpit EXT LT BEACON-SWITCH (2LV) to ON position.
(4) If the lower anti-collision beacon light flashes, no more actions are necessary.
