3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test
Do the functional test of the equipment compartment lighting AMM 33-35-00-720-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-35-00-810-050-A
A. If, during the functional test, when you push the avionics-compartment light pushbutton-switch 23LS:
   (1) One lamp of the forward or aft avionics-compartment dome-light does not operate correctly:
  • remove the defective lamp in the LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT FWD R [6LS] or LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT FWD L [7LS] or LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT AFT L [9LS] or LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT AFT R [10LS] AMM 33-35-11-000-002
  • make sure that there is a voltage at the lamp socket.
     (a) If there is a voltage:
     (b) If there is no voltage:
  • do a check and repair the wiring of the related light ASM 333501.
   (2) The lateral right dome-light of the avionics-compartment does not operate correctly:
  • remove the LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT LAT R [8LS] AMM 33-35-11-000-002
  • make sure that there is a voltage at the lamp socket.
     (a) If there is a voltage:
     (b) If there is no voltage:
  • replace the RELAY-PWR SPLY, AVIONICS COMPT FWD R LT CTL (25LS) AIPC 333508.
       1 If the fault continues:
  • do a check for continuity between the pins A2 and B2 of the power supply relay (25LS).
         a If there is no continuity:
  • repair the wiring between the pin A2 of the power supply relay (25LS) and the first terminal block ASM 333501.
         b If there is continuity:
  • repair the wiring between the power supply relay (25LS) and the lateral right dome light (8LS) ASM 333501.
   (3) The lamp of the lateral left avionics-compartment dome-light does not operate correctly:
  • remove the LT-DOME, AVIONICS COMPT LAT L [22LS] AMM 33-35-11-000-002
  • make sure that there is a voltage at the lamp socket.
     (a) If there is a voltage:
     (b) If there is no voltage:
  • replace the RELAY-PWR SPLY, AVIONICS COMPT AFT L LT CTL (24LS) AIPC 333508.
       1 If the fault continues:
  • do a check for continuity between the pins A2 and B2 of the power supply relay (24LS).
         a If there is no continuity:
  • repair the wiring between the pin A2 of the power supply relay (24LS) and the first terminal block ASM 333501.
         b If there is continuity:
  • repair the wiring between the power supply relay (24LS) and the lateral left dome light (22LS) ASM 333501.
