3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 33-34-00-710-051-A

A. Do the operational test of the FWD and AFT Cargo-Compartment Lighting AMM 33-34-00-710-001.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-34-00-810-052-A

A. If the operational test shows that no lights in the FWD Cargo Compartment come on:

replace a fluorescent tube.

(1) If the fluorescent tube comes on:

replace all the fluorescent tubes.

(2) If the fault continues:

do a check for 115 VDC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C ASM 333401.

(a) If there is approx. 115 VAC:

replace the related BALLAST UNIT AMM 33-34-11-000-001 and AMM 33-34-11-400-001.

(b) If there is no 115 VAC:

do a check of the FWD CARGO COMPT SW 6LU and replace it if necessary.

(3) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring between the related
BALLAST UNIT connector A/C and CB 1LU ASM 333401.

Subtask 33-34-00-810-053-A

B. If the operational test shows that no lights in the AFT Cargo Compartment come on:

replace a fluorescent tube.

(1) If the fluorescent tube comes on:

replace all the fluorescent tubes .

(2) If the fault continues:

do a check for 115 VDC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C ASM 333401.

(a) If there is approx. 115 VAC:

replace the related BALLAST UNIT AMM 33-34-11-000-001 and AMM 33-34-11-400-001.

(b) If there is no 115 VAC:

do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 8LU and replace it if necessary.

(3) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring between the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C and CB 2LU ASM 333401.

Subtask 33-34-00-810-057-A

C. If the operational test shows that no lights in the AFT Cargo Compartment come on:

replace a fluorescent tube.

(1) If the fluorescent tube comes on:

replace all the fluorescent tubes.

(2) If the fault continues:

do a check for 115 VDC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C ASM 333401.

(a) If there is approx. 115 VDC:

replace the related BALLAST UNIT AMM 33-34-11-000-001 and AMM 33-34-11-400-001.

(b) If there is no 115 VDC:

do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 8LU and replace it if necessary.

do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 18LU and replace it if necessary.

(3) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring between the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C and CB 2LU ASM 333401.
