Subtask 33-13-00-710-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do only the test for the glareshield integral lighting AMM 33-13-00-710-001.
If, during this operational test, under the glareshield 13VU, when you turn the INT LT and FLOOD LT potentiometers on of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE) ASM 331303:
     (a) The integral lighting of one plate does not operate, go to Para. 4.A.
     (b) The integral lighting of one instrument does not operate, go to Para. 4.B.
     (c) The integral lighting of more than one instrument and/or plate connected to the same fuse output does not operate, go to Para. 4.C.
     (d) The integral lighting of all the panels and/or the instruments does not operate, go to Para. 4.D.
Subtask 33-13-00-710-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do only the test for the glareshield integral lighting AMM 33-13-00-710-001.
If, during this operational test, under the glareshield 13VU, when you turn the INT LT and FLOOD LT potentiometers on of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE) ASM 331303:
     (a) The integral lighting of one plate does not operate, go to Para. 4.A.
     (b) The integral lighting of one instrument does not operate, go to Para. 4.B.
     (c) The integral lighting of more than one instrument connected to the same fuse output does not operate, go to Para. 4.C.
     (d) The integral lighting of all the panels and/or the instruments does not operate, go to Para. 4.D.
     (e) The integral lighting of more than one plate connected to the same pulse width modulation output signal does not operate, go to Para. 4.E.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-13-00-810-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. The integral lighting of one panel does not operate.
   (1) Remove the related integrally-lighted identification-plate AMM 33-13-44-000-801.
   (2) Do check for voltage at pin A/1 of the electrical connector of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate, ASM 331303.
     (a) If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/1 of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate and the first terminal block.
     (b) If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/N of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate, ASM 331303:
       1 If there is a ground signal:
         a Replace the defective lamp of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate.
NOTE: Refer to the applicable CMM related to the P/N of the integrally-lighted identification-plate AIPC 331308 for removal/installation instructions.
       2 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring.
  • Install the related integrally-lighted identification-plate AMM 33-13-44-400-801.
Subtask 33-13-00-810-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. The integral lighting of one plate does not operate.
   (1) Remove the related integrally-lighted identification-plate AMM 33-13-44-000-801.
   (2) Do a check for continuity between the pin A/1 of the electrical connector of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate and the first terminal block ASM 331303.
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/1 of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate and the first terminal block.
     (b) If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/N of the related integrally-lighted identification-plate, ASM 331303:
       1 If there is a ground signal:
       2 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring.
  • Install the related integrally-lighted identification-plate AMM 33-13-44-400-801.
Subtask 33-13-00-810-062-A
B. The integral lighting of one instrument does not operate.
   (1) FOR [3FH]
     (a) Remove the HUD OHU (3FH) AMM 34-35-22-000-001.
     (b) Do a check for voltage at pin A/CC of the electrical connector of the HUD OHU (3FH), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/CC of the HUD OHU (3FH) and the first terminal block.
       2 If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/Q of the electrical connector of the HUD OHU (3FH), ASM 331303.
         a If there is a ground signal:
         b If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from the HUD OHU (3FH) pin A/Q to the ground terminal.
  • Install the HUD OHU (3FH) AMM 34-35-22-400-001.
   (2) FOR [2CA] (FCU)
     (a) Remove the FCU (2CA) AMM 22-81-12-000-001.
     (b) Do a check for voltage at pin A/W of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/W of the FCU (2CA) and the first terminal block.
       2 If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/X of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
         a If there is a ground signal:
         b If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from the FCU (2CA) pin A/X to the ground terminal.
  • Install the FCU (2CA) AMM 22-81-12-400-001.
     (c) Do a check for voltage at pin B/T of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin B/T of the FCU (2CA) and pin A/J of the controller lighting.
       2 If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin B/U of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
         a If there is a ground signal:
         b If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from FCU (2CA) pin B/U to the ground terminal.
  • Install the FCU (2CA) AMM 22-81-12-400-001.
     (d) Do a check for voltage at pin B/W of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin B/W of the FCU (2CA) and the first terminal block.
       2 If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin B/X of the electrical connector of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
         a If there is a ground signal:
         b If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from FCU (2CA) pin B/X to the ground terminal.
  • Install the FCU (2CA) AMM 22-81-12-400-001.
   (3) FOR [1FW]
     (a) Remove the PVI (1FW) AMM 34-34-22-000-001.
     (b) Do a check for voltage at pin A/A of the electrical connector of the PVI (1FW), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no voltage:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/A of the PVI (1FW) and the first terminal block.
       2 If there is voltage:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the electrical connector of the PVI (1FW), ASM 331303.
         a If there is a ground signal:
         b If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from PVI (1FW) pin A/B to the ground terminal.
  • Install the PVI (1FW) AMM 34-34-22-400-001.
Subtask 33-13-00-810-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. The integral lighting of more than one instrument and/or plate connected to the same fuse output does not operate.
   (1) For fuse output H:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/H of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and the first terminal block, ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
   (2) For fuse output J:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/J of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and the first terminal block, ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
   (3) For fuse output K:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/K of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/W of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:

D. The integral lighting of all the panels and/or the instruments does not operate:
   (1) Do a check for 115VAC at pin A/A of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF), ASM 331303.
     (a) If there is no 115VAC:
  • Repair the wiring.
     (b) If there is 115VAC:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pins A/B and A/C of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the related wiring.
       2 If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for continuity between, ASM 331303:
    . Pin A/F of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/1 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/E of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/2 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/D of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/3 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/V of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/4 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/U of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/5 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/T of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/6 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
         a If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the related wiring.
         b If there is continuity:

E. The integral lighting of more than one instrument connected to the same fuse output does not operate.
   (1) For fuse output D:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/D of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and the first terminal block, ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
   (2) For fuse output J:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/J of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin B/T of the FCU (2CA), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:
   (3) For fuse output K:
  • Do a check of the fuse.
     (a) If the fuse is not correct:
  • Replace the fuse .
     (b) If the fuse is correct:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/K of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and the first terminal block, ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
       2 If there is continuity:

F. The integral lighting of all the panels and/or the instruments does not operate:
   (1) Do a check for 115VAC at pin A/A of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF), ASM 331303.
     (a) If there is no 115VAC:
  • Repair the wiring.
     (b) If there is 115VAC:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pins A/B and A/C of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the related wiring.
       2 If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for continuity between, ASM 331303:
    . Pin A/M of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/1 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/N of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/2 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/P of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/3 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/F of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/4 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/G of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/5 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
    . Pin A/H of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and pin A/6 of the center main instrument-panel-light (38LE)
         a If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the related wiring.
         b If there is continuity:

G. The integral lighting of more than one instrument connected to the same pulse width modulation output does not operate.
   (1) For pulse width modulation output L:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/L of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF) and the first terminal block, ASM 331303.
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/Z of the electrical connector of the lighting controller (30LF), ASM 331303.
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring from the lighting controller (30LF) pin A/Z to the ground terminal.
       2 If there is a ground signal:
