A. Test
Do the operational test of the general illumination AMM 33-12-00-710-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the instrument lighting, the supplementary reading lights, the map table lights and the center pedestal light only.
Subtask 33-12-00-710-078-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
Do the operational test of the general illumination AMM 33-12-00-710-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the center pedestal light only.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-12-00-810-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If during the operational test:
   (1) The FLOOD LT/PED rheostat (28LE) is inoperative on the related center pedestal light (27LE):
   (2) The center pedestal light (27LE) does not come on:
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
  • do a check for continuity between pin A/1 and pin A/2 of the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE).
       1 If there is no continuity:
       2 If there is continuity:
  • do a check for 28VDC at pin A/1 of the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE) ASM 331202.
         a If there is no 28VDC:
  • do a check and repair the wiring between the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE) pin A/1 and the first terminal block ASM 331202.
         b If there is 28VDC:
  • do a check and repair the wiring between the center pedestal light (27LE):
    . and the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE)
    . and the ground terminal ASM 331202.
Subtask 33-12-00-810-064-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If during the operational test:
   (1) On the panel overhead control and indicating panel 48VU:
  • The center pedestal light does not come on when you turn the FLOOD LT/PED potentiometer from the OFF position to the BRT position.
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin 2 of the center pedestal light (27LE) ASM 331202.
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring between the pin 2 of the center pedestal light (27LE) and the ground.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for continuity between the pin 1 of the center pedestal light (27LE) and the pin A/2 of the flood light/pedestal single control-box (50LE) ASM 331202.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring .
       2 If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 1 of the receptacle of the flood light/pedestal single control-box (50LE) ASM 331200.
         a If there is no 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring .
         b If there is 28VDC:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/3 of the receptacle of the flood light/pedestal single control-box (50LE) ASM 331200.
    * If there is no ground signal:
    * - Repair the wiring between pin A/3 of the receptacle of the reading-light single control-box (51LE) and the ground terminal.
    * If there is ground signal:
    * - Replace LT-CENTER PEDESTAL [27LE] AMM 33-12-14-000-002 and AMM 33-12-14-400-002.
    ** If the fault continues:
    * - Replace CTL BOX-SINGLE, FLOOD LT/PED [50LE] AMM 33-12-17-000-802 and AMM 33-12-17-400-802.
