Subtask 33-12-00-710-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
Do the operational test of the general illumination AMM 33-12-00-710-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the dome lights only.
Subtask 33-12-00-710-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the general illumination AMM 33-12-00-710-001.
NOTE: Do this test for the dome lights only.
   (2) If light is off during the test:
     (a) If the Captain dome light (43LE) does not come on when the integral light/dome switch (14LE) is in the DIM position:
  • Go to Para. A.
     (b) If the Captain dome light (43LE) does not come on when integral light/dome switch (14LE) is in the BRT position:
  • Go to Para. B.
     (c) If the Captain dome light (43LE) does not come on when the integral light/dome switch (14LE) is in the DIM position and in the BRT position:
  • Go to Para. C.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-12-00-810-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If, during the operational test:
   (1) One Captain dome light (161LE) or (163LE) or (165LE) or (167LE) does not operate correctly:
  • Remove the defective Captain dome light AMM 33-12-11-000-002.
  • Make sure that there is 28VDC at the lamp socket.
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
   (2) Two Captain dome lights (161LE) and (163LE) or (165LE) and (167LE) do not operate correctly:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin 3D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) in the BRT position ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 3D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and the ground terminal ASM 331201.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring of the related CAPT dome lights ASM 331201.
   (3) The four Captain dome lights do not operate correctly:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 1A of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
  • Do a check for continuity ASM 331201 between:
    . Pin 1A of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and pin 2A of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE)
    . Pin 2D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and pin 1D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE).
       1 If there is no continuity:
       2 If there is continuity:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring ASM 331201 between:
    . Pin 2A of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and pin 2D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE)
    . Pin 1D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and the first branch point, or
    . Pin 1D of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and pin 2A of the captain dome light (163LE)
    . The ground and the first branch point.
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
  • Replace the C/B-LIGHTING/CKPT/DOME [3LE] .
       1 If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring between the LIGHTING/CKPT/DOME circuit breaker (3LE) and pin 1A of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
Subtask 33-12-00-810-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If during the operational test, on the Captain side:
   (1) One, two or three light lines do not operate correctly at the Captain station:
   (2) The four light lines do not operate correctly at the Captain station:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/D of the Captain dome light (43LE) ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring between pin A/D of the receptacle of the captain dome light (43LE) and the ground.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/A of the receptacle of the Captain dome light (43LE) and pin 1D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
       1 If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring .
       2 If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 2D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
         a If there is 28VDC:
  • Replace SW-INT LT/DOME [14LE] .
         b If there is no 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 2D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and the first branch point.
Subtask 33-12-00-810-084-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If during the operational test, on the Captain side:
   (1) One, two or three light lines do not operate correctly at the Captain station:
  • Make sure that there is 28VDC at the related light receptacle ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is 28VDC:
     (b) If there is no 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring between the related pins A/C and/or A/F and/or A/E of the receptacle of the Captain dome light (43LE).
   (2) The four light lines station do not operate correctly at the Captain station:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin 3D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is no ground signal:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 3D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and the ground.
     (b) If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for a ground signal at pin 1D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
       1 If there is no ground signal:
  • Replace SW-INT LT/DOME [14LE] .
       2 If there is a ground signal:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin 1D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and pin A/A of the receptacle of the Captain dome light (43LE) ASM 331201.
         a If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
         b If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin A/C or A/B or A/F or A/E of the receptacle of the Captain dome light (43LE) ASM 331201.
    * If there is 28VDC:
  • Replace LT-DOME, CAPT [43LE] AMM 33-12-11-000-802 and AMM 33-12-11-400-802.
    * If there is no 28VDC:
  • Do a check for continuity between the first branch point and pin 3B of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
    ** If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
    ** If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 1B of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
    ** If there is 28VDC:
  • Replace SW-INT LT/DOME [14LE] .
    ** If there is no 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 1B of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and the first branch point.

C. If during the operational test, on the Captain side:
   (1) The four light lines do not operate correctly at the Captain station:
  • Do a check for continuity between pin A/A of the receptacle of the Captain dome light (43LE) and pin 1D of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • Repair the wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 2A of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
       1 If there is 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 2A of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and the first branch point.
       2 If there is no 28VDC:
  • Do a check for 28VDC at pin 1A of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) ASM 331201.
         a If there is 28VDC:
  • Replace SW-INT LT/DOME [14LE] .
         b If there is no 28VDC:
  • Repair the wiring between pin 1A of the receptacle of the integral light/dome switch (14LE) and the cockpit dome-lighting circuit-breaker (3LE).
