Subtask 32-51-00-710-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-863-001.
(3) On the nose gear leg, on the nose-wheel steering deactivation electrical box:
(5) Apply a thick layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the top of the greased steel plate.
(6) Put the other steel plate on the top of the greased steel plate.
(7) Move the aircraft and put the nose wheels on the steel plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
Subtask 32-51-00-710-056-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-863-001.
(3) On the nose gear leg, on the nose-wheel steering deactivation electrical box:
- make sure that the towing lever is in the TOWING (disengaged) position.
NOTE: Two square steel plates are necessary.
(4) Put one of the steel plates in position in front of the nose wheels. (5) Apply a thick layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the top of the greased steel plate.
(6) Put the other steel plate on the top of the greased steel plate.
(7) Move the aircraft and put the nose wheels on the steel plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the tow bar from the aircraft.
(8) With the tow bar, try to change the direction of the nose wheels. A. Test
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-863-002.
(3) On the nose gear leg, on the nose-wheel steering deactivation electrical box:
(5) Apply a thick layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the top of the greased steel plate.
(6) Put the other steel plate on the top of the greased steel plate.
(7) Move the aircraft and put the nose wheels on the steel plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-863-002.
(3) On the nose gear leg, on the nose-wheel steering deactivation electrical box:
- Make sure that the towing lever is in the TOWING (disengaged) position.
NOTE: Two square steel plates are necessary.
(4) Put one of the steel plates in position in front of the nose wheels. (5) Apply a thick layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the top of the greased steel plate.
(6) Put the other steel plate on the top of the greased steel plate.
(7) Move the aircraft and put the nose wheels on the steel plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the tow bar from the aircraft.
(8) With the tow bar, try to change the direction of the nose wheels. Subtask 32-51-00-810-096-A
A. If you cannot change the direction of the nose wheels:
Subtask 32-51-00-710-057-A - Replace the SERVO CTL-N/W STEERING [6GC] AMM 32-51-51-000-001 AMM 32-51-51-400-001.
- Replace the BSCU [10GG] AMM 32-42-34-000-001 AMM 32-42-34-400-001.
- Lift the aircraft at the forward jacking point AMM 07-11-00-581-003.
- Manually shake the nose gear shock-absorber and make sure that there is no free play.
- Do a check of the upper support attachment bolts .
- Tighten, repair or replace as necessary.
B. Test
(1) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
5. Close-up(1) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
Subtask 32-51-00-860-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-864-001.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
(3) Remove the greased plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
(4) Lower the aircraft to the ground AMM 07-11-00-586-001.
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
Subtask 32-51-00-860-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-864-001.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
(3) Remove the greased plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
(4) Lower the aircraft to the ground AMM 07-11-00-586-001.
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-864-002.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
(3) Remove the greased plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
(4) Lower the aircraft to the ground AMM 07-11-00-586-001.
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-10-00-864-002.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
(3) Remove the greased plates AMM 09-10-00-584-002.
(4) Lower the aircraft to the ground AMM 07-11-00-586-001.
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
