Subtask 32-51-00-700-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do a reset of the BSCU with the A/SKID AND NOSE WHEEL switch (5GG).
   (2) Do the BITE test of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-001.
     (a) If the test gives the maintenance message CAPT STEERING HANDWHEEL or BSCU, go to the Para. Fault Isolation.
     (b) If the test does not give the maintenance message CAPT STEERING HANDWHEEL or BSCU, but the fault continues:
1 On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the STEERING DATA indication.
2 Push the right or left rudder pedal fully and hold it in position.
3 On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the REFRESH indication.
a If, on the STEERING DATA page, the STEER ORDER is equal to 0 degrees:
  • Go to the Para. Fault Isolation 4.B.
b If, with the handwheel pushbutton switch pushed, the STEER ORDER indication on the STEERING DATA page is equal to:
  • +6 degrees for the left rudder pedal, or
  • -6 degrees for the right rudder pedal:
c Go to the Para. Fault Isolation 4.B.

A. Test
   (1) Do a reset of the BSCU with the A/SKID AND NOSE WHEEL switch (5GG).
   (2) Do the BITE test of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-001.
     (a) If the test gives the maintenance message CAPT STEERING HANDWHEEL/BSCU (10GG), go to the Para. Fault Isolation.
     (b) If the test does not give the maintenance message CAPT STEERING HANDWHEEL/BSCU (10GG), but the fault continues:
1 On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM DATA indication to get page 3/3.
a Push the right or left rudder pedal fully and hold it in position.
b If, on the SYSTEM DATA page 3/3, the rudder-pedal order value is equal to (-----):
NOTE: This value is shown below the REFRESH indication.
  • Go to the Para. Fault Isolation 4.B.
c If, with the handwheel pushbutton switch pushed, the rudder-pedal angle value shown below the REFRESH indication on the SYSTEM DATA page 3/3 is equal to:
  • +31 degrees for the left rudder pedal, or
  • -31 degrees for the right rudder pedal:
d Go to the Para. Fault Isolation 4.B.
Subtask 32-51-00-700-058-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
