1. Possible Causes

CTL VALVE-PARK BRK,ELEC. [72GG]
ground signal at pin 2 of the diode module (1804VD)
the diode module (1804VD) pin 2 and pin A/E of the parking-brake electrical control-valve (72GG)
ground signal at pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD)
wiring from the SDAC 1 (1WV1) pin AD/7C to the first terminal block
wiring from the SDAC 2 (1WV2) pin AD/7C to pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD)
DIODE MODULE (1804VD)
CTL VALVE-PARK BRK, ELEC [102GG]
ground signal at pin 2 of the diode module (1804VD)

A. If the PARK BRK memo indication or if the warning message CONFIG PARK BRK ON comes into view when the PARK BRK control switch is in the OFF position with no pressure on the Yellow pressure triple-indicator:

Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/E of the parking-brake electrical control-valve (72GG) ASM 324501.

(1) If there is a ground signal:

Replace the CTL VALVE-PARK BRK,ELEC. [72GG] AMM 32-45-51-000-001 AMM 32-45-51-400-001.

(2) If there is no ground signal:

Do a check for a ground signal at pin 2 of the diode module (1804VD) ASM 324501.

(a) If there is a ground signal:

Do a check and repair or replace the wiring between the diode module (1804VD) pin 2 and pin A/E of the parking-brake electrical control-valve (72GG).

(b) If there is no ground signal:

Do a check for a ground signal at pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD) ASM 324501.

1 If there is a ground signal:

Do a check and repair or replace :
- The wiring from the SDAC 1 (1WV1) pin AD/7C to the first terminal block , and
- The wiring from the SDAC 2 (1WV2) pin AD/7C to pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD).

Replace the DIODE MODULE (1804VD).

Subtask 32-45-00-810-054-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

do a check for a ground signal at pin A/3 of the parking brake electrical control valve (102GG) ASM 324501.

(1) If there is a ground signal:

replace the CTL VALVE-PARK BRK, ELEC [102GG] AMM 32-45-53-000-001 AMM 32-45-53-400-001.

(2) If there is no ground signal:

do a check for a ground signal at pin 2 of the diode module (1804VD) ASM 324501.

(a) If there is a ground signal:

Do a check and repair or replace the wiring between the diode module 1804VD pin 2 to pin A/3 of the parking brake electrical control valve (102GG).

(b) If there is no ground signal:

do a check for a ground signal at pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD) ASM 324501.

1 if there is ground signal:

Do a check and repair or replace the wiring from the SDAC 1 (1WV1) pin AD/7C to the first terminal block wiring from the SDAC 2 (1WV2) pin AD/7C to pin 17 of the diode module (1804VD) .

Replace the DIODE MODULE (1804VD).
