A. Job Set-up
Make sure that the PARKING BRK control-switch is set to OFF before you do the procedure.
Subtask 32-44-00-700-052-A Make sure that the PARKING BRK control-switch is set to OFF before you do the procedure.
NOTE: On aircraft with EMM BSCS, with the aircraft on its wheels and if you have all these conditions:
- Yellow hydraulic system not available (low pressure)
- Parking brake set to OFF
- Towing key not installed on the NLG electrical box 5GC
No other maintenance action is necessary.
The cause of the residual pressure is the activation of the Zero Torque Pressure (ZTP mode) by the ABCU.The ZTP mode is cancelled (the pressure goes back to zero) when one of the above conditions is cancelled.
If you do not have all of the above conditions, do the steps in Para.4.
B. Test
Make sure that there is right or left pressure indication on the triple indicator without any action on the brake pedals.
4. Fault IsolationMake sure that there is right or left pressure indication on the triple indicator without any action on the brake pedals.
Subtask 32-44-00-810-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is right or left pressure indication on the triple indicator (60GG)
Subtask 32-44-00-810-060-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Disconnect the electrical connector from the related PRESS XDCR-BRK (62GG or 63GG). Monitor the pressure on the triple indicator.
- replace the IND-BRK YELLOW PRESS TRIPLE [60GG] AMM 32-44-21-000-001 AMM 32-44-21-400-001.
- install the pressure gage on the related Yellow brake bleeder to do a check for residual pressure on the brake.
- replace the DUAL VALVE-ALTN BRK DISTR [2577GM] AMM 32-43-14-000-001 and AMM 32-43-14-400-001.
- replace the PRESS XDCR-BRK,YELLOW L [63GG] or the PRESS XDCR-BRK,YELLOW R [62GG] AMM 32-44-18-000-001 AMM 32-44-18-400-001.
- replace the MASTER CYL-BRK CTL,L [2625GM] AMM 32-43-12-000-001 AMM 32-43-12-400-001
- do a check of the
wiring from the pressure transducer (63GG) to the brake Yellow pressure triple indicator 60GG ASM 324401.
- replace the MASTER CYL-BRK CTL,R [2626GM] AMM 32-43-12-000-001 AMM 32-43-12-400-001.
- do a check of the
wiring from the pressure transducer (62GG) to the brake Yellow pressure triple indicator 60GG ASM 324401.
A. If there is right or left pressure indication on the triple indicator (60GG)
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
(b) Set the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG to ON.
(c) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
(d) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page, push the line key adjacent to the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) indication.
(e) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) page, push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA page32-42-00-03 TSM TASK 32-42-00-03 .
(f) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2)/SPECIFIC DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM DATA page.
(g) On the SYSTEM DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the REFRESH indication.
(h) Make sure that the pressure value (APTL) of the left Yellow brake pressure-transducer (101GG) is 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi).
(i) If the pressure value (APTL) of the left Yellow brake pressure-transducer (101GG) is not 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi):
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
(b) Set the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG to ON.
(c) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
(d) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page, push the line key adjacent to the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) indication.
(e) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) page, push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA page.
(f) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2)/SPECIFIC DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM DATA page.
(g) On the SYSTEM DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the REFRESH indication.
(h) Make sure that the pressure value (APTR) of the right Yellow brake pressure-transducer (100GG) is 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi).
(i) If the pressure value (APTR) of the right Yellow brake pressure-transducer (100GG) is not 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi):
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the related Yellow brake pressure transducer.
- Monitor the pressure on the triple indicator.
- replace the IND-BRK YELLOW PRESS TRIPLE [60GG] AMM 32-44-21-000-001 AMM 32-44-21-400-001.
- install the pressure gage on the related Yellow brake bleeder to do a check for residual pressure on the brake.
- replace the MANIFOLD-ALTN BRK, L [2853GM] AMM 32-43-32-000-001 and AMM 32-43-32-400-001.
- replace the MANIFOLD-ALTN BRK, R [2852GM] AMM 32-43-32-000-001 AMM 32-43-32-400-001.
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
(b) Set the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG to ON.
(c) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
(d) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page, push the line key adjacent to the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) indication.
(e) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) page, push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA page
(f) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2)/SPECIFIC DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM DATA page.
(g) On the SYSTEM DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the REFRESH indication.
(h) Make sure that the pressure value (APTL) of the left Yellow brake pressure-transducer (101GG) is 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi).
(i) If the pressure value (APTL) of the left Yellow brake pressure-transducer (101GG) is not 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi):
- replace the PRESS XDCR-BRK, YELLOW L [101GG] AMM 32-44-19-000-001 AMM 32-44-19-400-001.
- do a check of the wiring from the left Yellow brake pressure-transducer (101GG) to the brake Yellow triple indicator (60GG) pin AD/AE to pin AF/AK ASM 324400.
(a) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
(b) Set the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG to ON.
(c) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
(d) On the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page, push the line key adjacent to the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) indication.
(e) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2) page, push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA page.
(f) On the BSCU CHAN/SYS 1(2)/SPECIFIC DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM DATA page.
(g) On the SYSTEM DATA page, push the line key adjacent to the REFRESH indication.
(h) Make sure that the pressure value (APTR) of the right Yellow brake pressure-transducer (100GG) is 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi).
(i) If the pressure value (APTR) of the right Yellow brake pressure-transducer (100GG) is not 145 +10 bar or -10 bar (2103.0467 +145.0377 psi or -145.0377 psi):
- replace the PRESS XDCR-BRK, YELLOW R [100GG] AMM 32-44-19-000-001 AMM 32-44-19-400-001.
- do a check of the wiring from the right Yellow brake pressure-transducer (100GG) to the brake Yellow triple indicator (60GG) pin AD/AE to pin AJ/AC ASM 324400.
