MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES ARE CLEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE/DEPRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
WARNING:
PRESSURIZE ONLY THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) THAT IS (ARE) NECESSARY FOR THE TASK. ISOLATE THE OTHER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
Subtask 32-43-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the Landing Gear control lever is at DOWN.
(3) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is at ON.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is at OFF.
(5) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
(6) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized:
(9) Put the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG in the ON position.
Subtask 32-43-00-710-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the Landing Gear control lever is at DOWN.
(3) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is at ON.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is at OFF.
(5) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
(6) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized:
- On the overhead panel 40VU, set the PTU pushbutton switch in the OFF position and make sure that the OFF legend comes on.
- Set the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to OFF then ON.
(9) Put the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG in the ON position.
B. Test
(1) After you put the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG in the ON position, wait 5 second minimum and do the GROUND SCANNING of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-002.
(2) Depressurize the Yellow Hydraulic System AMM 29-24-00-864-001.
4. Fault Isolation(1) After you put the PARKING BRK control switch 73GG in the ON position, wait 5 second minimum and do the GROUND SCANNING of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-002.
(2) Depressurize the Yellow Hydraulic System AMM 29-24-00-864-001.

A. If the test gives the maintenance message BRK ALTN MANIFOLD LEFT (2853GM):
