WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES ARE CLEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE/DEPRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
WARNING: PRESSURIZE ONLY THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) THAT IS (ARE) NECESSARY FOR THE TASK. ISOLATE THE OTHER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
   (2) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the Landing Gear control lever is at DOWN.
   (3) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is at ON.
   (4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is at OFF.
   (5) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
   (6) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized:
  • On the overhead panel 40VU, set the PTU pushbutton switch in the OFF position and make sure that the OFF legend comes on.
   (7) Do a reset of the BSCU (10GG):
  • Set the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to OFF then ON.
   (8) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
AMM 29-24-00-863-001.
   (9) Press the brake pedals on the captain or First Officer side

B. Test
   (1) Do the BITE test of the BSCU (GROUND SCANNING) AMM 32-46-00-740-002.
   (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
AMM 29-24-00-864-001
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the BITE test (GROUND SCANNING) gives the maintenance message ABCU(95GG)/BRK ALTN PEDAL XMTR(103GG) with the fault code 300, 430 or 431:
   (1) If the fault continues:
   (2) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring between the ABCU (95GG) and the brake-pedal alternate transmitter-unit (103GG), ASM 324303.
   (3) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check and repair the wiring between the ABCU (95GG) pin B/J and the 10GG pin AB/13A, ASM 324302.
   (4) If the fault continues:
  • Do a check of the rod adjustment of the alternate brake pedal transmitter (103GG) AMM 27-21-00-820-803.
