Subtask 32-42-00-810-263-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
NOTE: This task is applicable to conditions in which the BRAKES CH/SYS X FAULT and/or BRAKES NORM BRK FAULT ECAM warnings come on intermittently.
   (1) Do the BITE test of the normal braking system AMM 32-46-00-740-005.
   (2) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
ACTION
RESULT
  • Push the line key adjacent to the BSCU1 or BSCU2 indication.
  • The BSCU1 or BSCU2 page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TROUBLE SHOOT DATA indication.
  • The TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page comes into view.
   (3) If the TSD gives a fault code:
     (a) Do the related trouble shooting procedure.
   (4) If the TSD gives no fault code:
     (a) Read the PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT of the BSCU on the MCDU main page AMM 32-46-00-02-.
1 Do a check of the last ten flight entries in the aircraft logbook:
  • If there is a fault code 35 or 36 that occurred during the flight operational phases 3, 4 or 8, and
  • If the normal brake servovalve current is of 2.0 mA on the TSD -Internal fault detail page 1/2 of the PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT (Figure Ref. SD 32-46-00-14000-00-B), go to the Para Fault Isolation.
  • If there is no fault code 35 or 36 on BSCU CH/SYS 1 or BSCU CH/SYS 2, no action is necessary.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 32-42-00-740-215-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Replace the WHEEL-MLG, 3 [2652GM] and WHEEL-MLG, 4 [2650GM] , AMM 32-41-11-000-006 and AMM 32-41-11-400-006.
NOTE: An unbalance of the wheels on the same MLG can increase vibrations at the normal brake servovalves and cause fault codes 35 and 36.
