Failure of the Normal Brake Pressure Transducer (Wheel 1)
1. Possible Causes
- PRESS XDCR-NORM BRK WHEEL 1 [11GG]
wiring between pin 2 of the circuit breaker (4GG) and pin A/A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) - C/B-HYDRAULIC/BRAKING AND STEERING/SYS2/SPLY [4GG]
- BSCU [10GG]
wiring between pins D and E of connector A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) and pins 9H and 9G of connector AB of the BSCU (10GG)

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) On the right center instrument-panel 400VU, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is in the DOWN position.
(3) On the landing gear control and indicating panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is set to ON.
(4) On the parking brake panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is set to OFF.
(5) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

Subtask 32-42-00-740-050-A (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002.
(2) On the right center instrument-panel 400VU, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is in the DOWN position.
(3) On the landing gear control and indicating panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is set to ON.
(4) On the parking brake panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is set to OFF.
(5) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

B. Test
(1) Do a reset of the BSCU (10GG):
AMM 29-10-00-863-001.
(3) Push the brake pedals on the captain or first officer side.
(4) Do the BITE test of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-001.
(5) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
AMM 29-10-00-864-001.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do a reset of the BSCU (10GG):
- Set the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to OFF, then to ON.
AMM 29-10-00-863-001.
(3) Push the brake pedals on the captain or first officer side.
(4) Do the BITE test of the BSCU AMM 32-46-00-740-001.
(5) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system

A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

B. If the test gives the maintenance message BRK PRESS TRANSDUCER (11GG):
(4) If the fault continues, do a visual inspection of:
(a) The connector of the brake pressure transducer (11GG):
1 Do a check of pins D and E and repair, if necessary ASM 324201.
2 If there is contamination, corrosion, bent or broken pins:
1 Do a check of pins 9H and 9G of connector AB and repair, if necessary ASM 324201.
2 If there is contamination, corrosion, bent or broken pins:
Subtask 32-42-00-710-110-A - Do a check for 28VDC at pin A/A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) ASM 324201.
- Do a check for a ground signal at pin A/B of the brake pressure transducer (11GG).
- Replace PRESS XDCR-NORM BRK WHEEL 1 [11GG] AMM 32-42-21-000-001 and AMM 32-42-21-400-001.
- Do a check for 28VDC at pin 2 of the circuit breaker of the brake and steering system (4GG) ASM 324201.
- Repair the
wiring between pin 2 of the circuit breaker (4GG) and pin A/A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) .
- Replace C/B-HYDRAULIC/BRAKING AND STEERING/SYS2/SPLY [4GG] ASM 324201.
(4) If the fault continues, do a visual inspection of:
(a) The connector of the brake pressure transducer (11GG):
1 Do a check of pins D and E and repair, if necessary ASM 324201.
2 If there is contamination, corrosion, bent or broken pins:
- Repair or replace PRESS XDCR-NORM BRK WHEEL 1 [11GG] AMM 32-42-21-000-001 and AMM 32-42-21-400-001.
1 Do a check of pins 9H and 9G of connector AB and repair, if necessary ASM 324201.
2 If there is contamination, corrosion, bent or broken pins:
- Repair or replace BSCU [10GG] , if necessary AMM 32-42-34-000-001 and AMM 32-42-34-400-001.
C. If the fault continues, do a continuity check ESPM 205221 and an insulation test ESPM 205222 between:
(1) Pins D and E of connector A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) and pins 9H and 9G of connector AB of the BSCU (10GG):
(a) If there is a fault:

(a) If there is a fault:
- Repair the
wiring between pins D and E of connector A of the brake pressure transducer (11GG) and pins 9H and 9G of connector AB of the BSCU (10GG) ASM 324201.
D. If the fault continues:
(1) If you did not replace the brake pressure transducer (11GG):
(a) Replace PRESS XDCR-NORM BRK WHEEL 1 [11GG] AMM 32-42-21-000-001 and AMM 32-42-21-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) If you did not replace the BSCU (10GG):
1 Replace BSCU [10GG] AMM 32-42-34-000-001 and AMM 32-42-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
5. Close-up(1) If you did not replace the brake pressure transducer (11GG):
(a) Replace PRESS XDCR-NORM BRK WHEEL 1 [11GG] AMM 32-42-21-000-001 and AMM 32-42-21-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(2) If the fault continues:
(a) If you did not replace the BSCU (10GG):
1 Replace BSCU [10GG] AMM 32-42-34-000-001 and AMM 32-42-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
