NOTE: Maintenance work before the last flight is a possible cause of the fault message(s) 'LG EXT PROX SNSR TGT POS' and(or) 'LG SHOCK ABSORBER'. This includes:

Work done on the MLG or NLG shock absorber(s)
Aircraft lifted on jacks
False targets installed on the MLG or NLG shock absorber proximity sensor(s).

(1) If one or more of the fault message(s) that follow is(are) shown on the PFR, with no ECAM warning shown:

(a) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
(b) Select LGCIU-1 or LGCIU-2.
(c) Select trouble shooting data (TSD).
(d) The TSD shows 1X00 on word 4:

1 shows the aircraft on ground
X is not applicable
00 shows the BITE recording command from the CFDS was null.

(e) Refer to Table 1:
