Subtask 32-31-00-710-083-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) Do a BITE test of the LGCIU that shows the fault, AMM 32-69-00-740-001:
     (a) If the message WRG: AA9K/LGCIU1(5GA1) is shown, do the fault isolation in Para. 4. A. (1).
     (b) If the message WRG: AA9K/LGCIU2(5GA2) is shown, do the fault isolation in Para. 4. A. (3).
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 32-31-00-810-156-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Procedure
   (1) Do a check of the aircraft wiring and ARINC tray for LGCIU-1, make sure that:
  • LGCIU-1 pin AA9K is not connected to the aircraft wiring
  • LGCIU-1 pins AA6C, AA6D, AA6E and AA6F are connected to the aircraft wiring, AWM 315446
  • LGCIU-1 pins AA6G, AA6H, AA6J and AA6K are connected to the aircraft wiring, AWM 315446.
  • All the electrical connections to the LGCIU-1 are correct, Ref ASM 32-31.
  • There is no unwanted matreial that could cause a short beween the electrical connections on the LGCIU-1.
     (a) Do the test in Para. 3. A.
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Replace the LGCIU-1 [5GA1] , AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
   (3) Do a check of the aircraft wiring and ARINC tray for LGCIU-2, make sure that:
  • LGCIU-2 pin AA9K is connected to the aircraft wiring, and to ground AWM 323102
  • LGCIU-2 pins AA6C, AA6D, AA6E and AA6F are connected to the aircraft wiring, AWM 315446
  • LGCIU-2 pins AA6G, AA6H, AA6J and AA6K are not connected to the aircraft wiring, AWM 315446
  • All the electrical connections to the LGCIU-2 are correct, (Ref ASM 32-31)
  • There is no unwanted material that could cause a short between the electrical connections on the LGCIU-2.
     (a) Do the test in Para. 3. A.
   (4) If the fault continues:
     (a) Replace the LGCIU-2 [5GA2] , AMM 32-31-71-000-001 and AMM 32-31-71-400-001.
