LGCIU 1 (2) Fault

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 32-31-00-740-083-A

A. Test
(1) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009:
(a) If you cannot get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/L/G page:

Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized with an external power supply AMM 24-41-00-861-002. If external power is not available, do the TSM procedure 'LGCIU BITE Test Not Possible' (Ref. TSM TASK 32-31-00-810-839).

(2) On the LGCIU main menu, Press the TROUBLE SHOOT DATA line key.
(3) If there are fault codes shown, do the applicable trouble shooting procedure, (Ref. P. Block 301).
(4) If there are no fault codes shown, and the LGCIU 2 ECAM WARNING is shown:
(a) Do the procedure in Para. 4. B. to do a reset of the LGCIU 2.

NOTE: If the LGCIU 2 FAULT shows after a L/G free fall test, with no other fault codes, you can ignore the fault.

Subtask 32-31-00-810-130-A

B. Procedure
(1) Do a reset of the LGCIU-2 as follows:
(a) Make sure that the green hydraulic system is depressurised AMM 29-10-00-864-001.
(b) Open C/B 2GA.
(c) Wait for a minimum of 15 seconds.
(d) Close C/B 2GA.
(e) Make sure that the ECAM WARNING has gone.
